Breast Plate

We include an anti-frag/spall build-up on every breast plate, because we don’t believe in “well-dressed organ donors.” When bullets hit steel, they pop and break into smaller pieces. Those fragments can sever an artery, leading to death. When bullets hit our anti-frag coated breast plate, they are caught inside the buildup.

Our heat-tempered, mill-certified, military-grade steel plates meet NIJ specifications for Level III armor, providing multi-hit protection against ammunition up to 7.62 x 51 mm, 149-grain M80 FMJ rounds.

The Curved and Anti-Frag Coated front plate is designed to “catch” bullet fragments and plate spall, decreasing the risk of serious injuries.
