Curved Side Plates -included because civilians typically shoot rifles at a 45 degree angle, which would expose a deadly gap in their coverage if not wearing side armor.
Back Plate – Flat so that it can provide the most comfort when driving or carrying a load-out.
Trauma pads – High-Density foam inserts that help to reduce blunt force trauma caused by high caliber rifle rounds.

Is Level III Enough?

We manufacture our plates in-house using heat-tempered, mill-certified, military-grade steel. Additionally, every batch of our plates is professionally tested to meet NIJ specifications for level III armor, protecting against multiple hits from ammunition up to 7.62 x 51 mm, 149-grain (M80) FMJ rounds.

Every Armed American should have a set of body armor sitting next to the nightstand underneath the personal defense weapon. This armor system can be worn to stop ARs, AKs, pistols, hunting and sniper rifles (up to and including a .308), shotguns (both rifled slugs and 00 buck), and good luck finding a knife that will go through steel!
